"‘You miss 100% of the shots you don't take’ - Wayne Gretsky"

- Michael Scott

Andrew is a junior from Cleveland, Ohio, pursuing majors in Finance, Business Analytics, and Management Information Systems. He served as a Head Analyst for OUSEMG over the past two semesters and will now be stepping into a board role as Portfolio Manager. Since joining the group in the spring of 2024, Andrew has grown significantly both professionally and personally. The relationships he has built with current members and alumni have played a major role in developing his equity research skills and shaping his approach to leadership. As Portfolio Manager, and with prior experience leading as a Head Analyst, Andrew is excited to continue stepping up for the group and contributing to its success, while giving back to an organization that has had a meaningful impact on his development.

Outside of OUSEMG, Andrew enjoys staying active and pushing himself through long-distance running. He has completed two half marathons, most recently in August in Cleveland. Running has become an important outlet for him, reinforcing discipline, consistency, and resilience. Alongside running, Andrew enjoys traveling and has visited seven different countries, which has strengthened his appreciation for different cultures and perspectives. These experiences have broadened his worldview and continue to influence how he approaches both personal and professional challenges.

As a Cleveland native, Andrew takes great pride in his hometown and is a passionate fan of Cleveland sports teams. Supporting his teams has been a meaningful part of his life, and he values the strong sense of community that comes with it. Cleveland has played a significant role in shaping who he is, and his loyalty to the Browns reflects a mindset of persistence, resilience, and never backing down.

In past experiences, Andrew participated in a two-week global consulting project in Thessaloniki, Greece, where he gained hands-on experience working with an international client and developed practical consulting skills. He also previously interned at Westfield Insurance as a Personal Lines Underwriting and Product Intern, where he built a strong understanding of the insurance industry and personal lines operations. Building on these experiences, Andrew has received and accepted an offer with one of the Big 4 accounting firms, KPMG, where he will be working in Finance and Technology within the Advisory practice in the Chicago office.
