General Application Guidelines:
Be yourself! We want to get to know the real you and how you’ll be valuable to OUSEMG.
You MUST deliver a paper version of your application to Muck Business Annex Room 210 (OUSEMG Office) along with your PDF version of the application by the due date. If you’re having trouble finding Muck 210, please email ousemgboard@gmail.com or text (412) 360-9115.
Generative AI will NOT be tolerated on any application. If it is detected, the candidate will automatically be removed from the candidacy pool and won’t be able to apply in any future semesters.
Tips from Our Members on How to Stand Out:
-

"Make an effort to understand the basics of a company's business model, industry, and what drives its success. You don't need to know everything, but showing curiosity and effort goes a long way."
-Braden Hunker, Vice President
-
"Explain how you can add value to the group while gaining from us. Mutual value is important and proves you understand why you’re a strong fit for our group."
-Chloe Leimgruber, Head Analyst
-

"Be unique and formulate your own ideas. We care more about your thought process and ability to learn over strictly getting things right on the first try. Show that you want to challenge yourself and grow."
-Nathan Highland, Head Analyst
