Ben is a junior and serves on the Executive Board as a Portfolio Manager within Ohio University’s Student Equity Management Group. He is from Cincinnati, Ohio, and is double majoring in Finance and Business Analytics, where he has maintained his position on the Dean’s List for five consecutive semesters. This summer, he intends to intern in Atlanta, Georgia, with Truist Securities as a Corporate Banking Summer Analyst. During his internship, he plans to gain experience in corporate banking, working with clients, and financial analysis.

Ben’s dream career path is to work and build a full-time career within a corporate bank. Ben tells us that “being able to support clients through complex financial decisions and contribute to the growth and stability of their businesses is of utmost importance in order to create long-term value and give back to the community.” He is currently studying to pass the SIE during the remainder of his junior year, which will serve as a foundational step to advancing his career in the world of corporate banking. He aims to achieve these goals by taking leadership roles in student groups and networking with those around him to continue to gain insight and knowledge.

Outside of the group, Ben is also involved with the Ralph and Luci Schey Sales Centre, serving as the Director of Membership, where he is responsible for organizing and tracking analytics for over 650 students. In his free time, he enjoys participating in the tennis and pickleball groups on campus, playing basketball, and building computers.
