Emily is a Senior at Ohio University, pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, and Business Analytics. She currently is a Senior Analyst for the Ohio University Student Equity Management Group. She is from Cleveland, Ohio. Emily joined OUSEMG during her fall semester of freshman year, holding several leadership roles with two Head Analyst semesters and four Executive Board semesters as the Portfolio Manager. Through this organization, she has gained valuable experience in equities, developed strong connections with members and alumni, and grown both professionally and personally. Having benefited immensely from OUSEMG, Emily is eager to give back and mentor others.
Outside of OUSEMG, Emily is actively involved in two women-focused organizations. She serves as the Head of Communications for the Association of Women in Finance and is also a member of Ohio Women in Business. These groups have empowered Emily to support and grow alongside other women in traditionally male-dominated fields. Additionally, Emily works as an accounting intern for Glacial Skin, giving her more hands-on experience.
Emily's interests and hobbies include working out, running, playing and watching sports, and card games, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is someone who is dedicated to encouraging others to achieve their goals and reach their full potential. Emily prioritizes building strong, meaningful connections with her peers, and fostering a supportive and positive environment. After graduation, Emily looks forward to beginning her career with PNC Bank in Cleveland, Ohio as a Commercial and Corporate Banking Development Program Analyst. She is eager to apply her skills, grow her expertise, and contribute meaningfully to the company.
