Grant Gostlin is a sophomore at Ohio University pursuing a double major in Finance and Applied Mathematics. Originally from Jackson Township, Ohio, Grant is an active member of the Ohio University Student Equity Management Group, where he has developed a strong interest in equity research and financial markets. Grant especially values the tools, resources, and experiences OUSEMG provides to help students grow beyond the classroom and become professionally prepared. He has also enjoyed building lasting friendships and professional connections with fellow members throughout his time in the group. Grant looks forward to continuing to develop his equity research skills through stock pitches, collaboration, and the group's professional development opportunities.

Professionally, Grant recently completed an internship semester in April and is transitioning into an Analyst position. He plans to continue pursuing opportunities in finance while building on the skills and experience he has gained through his internship and involvement with OUSEMG. Outside of finance, Grant has also joined the Ohio University D1 ACHA hockey team this semester, which is the defending national championship team. He is committed to continuing to compete at a high level while balancing the demands of a double major and his professional goals.

Grant also enjoys giving back through teaching, providing hockey lessons to younger players and tutoring students in high-level calculus. He values the opportunity to help others improve while continuing to challenge himself academically and professionally. Looking ahead, Grant hopes to continue playing hockey at a high level, maintain his academic success, expand his experience through OUSEMG stock pitches, and continue pursuing opportunities within the finance industry.

Personally, Grant enjoys playing pickleball and poker, lifting weights, playing video games, and spending time with friends. He is motivated by continuous improvement, meaningful relationships, and the pursuit of excellence across academics, athletics, and his professional career. He strives to make the most of every opportunity while continuing to grow both personally and professionally.
