“Whether you think you can or think you can’t – you’re right!”
- Henry Ford
Keegan is a sophomore and current Head Analyst for the Ohio University Student Equity Management Group. He is an Honors Tutorial College student studying Finance and Accounting originally from Cleveland, Ohio. Keegan values OUSEMG for the friendships, professional connections, and financial skills it has given him. He is drawn to the group's steep learning curve and the chance to keep building his equity research and portfolio management skillset alongside people who push him to grow. He credits the group with helping him discover his passion for equity research and analysis. What began as an interest in investing developed into a fascination with understanding how companies, markets, economic conditions, and global events all interact, shaping the world around him.
On campus, Keegan is also a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity where he serves on the social committee helping plan events and manage logistics. Being involved in organizations that bring people together around common goals gives him a sense of purpose in life. Professionally, he is currently recruiting for banking roles while building his technical skills and network. He is eager to learn, contribute, and build lasting professional connections to support his long-term career goals in finance.
In his free time he enjoys lifting weights, eating good food, watching Cleveland sports, thrifting, investing, and spending time with all of his friends. He loves to do anything competitive as he feels he thrives when under pressure. Over his remaining time in school, Keegan looks forward to the places he will go, things he will accomplish, and the future that lay ahead.
